Welcome to High Country dairy goat farm where High Country Craft Soaps are made.
We’ve been raising beautiful purebred Nubian goats since l982, in the beautiful mountains of Lyons, Colorado. I learned to make soap on my Grandparent’s farm, way back in the l950’s when we did it out of necessity. I’ve enjoyed the benefits of goat’s milk soap for years and have mastered the craft of making a spectacular bar of soap!
Once you’ve used a bar of goat’s milk soap, you’ll notice the difference in your skin’s texture and appearance. This unique soap rinse’s off cleanly, leaving no itchy film to cause dryness. Goat’s milk has been known for centuries to be a natural moisturizer for our skin, it’s free of allergens and makes your skin less alkaline. People who suffer from skin irritations and allergies prefer to use goat milk soap. It’s been said that: Goat’s milk is a gift from God, and that goat’s milk soap is his gift for our beauty.
To obtain the best benefits from using goat’s milk soap follow these simple instructions. First, wet the skin, and then step out of the flow of water to suds up. Allow a few seconds for the lather to set on your skin, this is so the essential oils have time to absorb. You don’t want to immediately wash all the wonderful benefits of this soap down the drain! For the best care of this soap, let it dry out and not sit in water! This will help the soap to last longer.
Our handcrafted soap “made the old fashion way” contains glycerin which is a natural product of soap making. The commercial process of making soap removes this very valuable skin conditioner and moisturizer. We use the very finest goat’s milk from our dairy goat farm and local homegrown honey. The plant based oils used are canola, coconut, palm and olive with the addition of castor oil used for its bubbling properties. Olive oil is also a natural moisturizer which helps hold moisture close to the skin. Other beneficial items added are; aloe vera gel and natural clays. In making the most enjoyable soap, wonderful botanicals, fragrances and essential oils have been added for a fabulous bathing experience. It’s also, generally safe for sensitive skin and delicate babies to use.

I bought 1 bar at the fair in Brighton. I am a burn victim so my skin is very dry, besides living in airid Colorado. This is the best soap I’ve found to help with my skin. I plan on ordering more!

I love this soap, especially the fragrances. I stock up all summer when I go to the Farmer’s Market. I give it as gifts and all the men that I give it to love it also.

My sister-in-law has your soaps in her home, and when I complimented her on the beauty of it she offered me a few bars from her reserve stash. I am now on line and looking to place a “Christmas” order for all our friends and family. As an amateur soap maker I totally appriciate the quality of your soaps. Thank you for such a wonderful product.

Love your soap. Bought it at Longmont Farmens Market.

I first heard of your fabulous soaps while visiting my daughter in Colorado this past October. She took me to the Longmont Farmers Market where we bought your soap. Today was the first day that I tried it – I wanted to use the smell to freshen up the bathroom first : ) – it’s THE best soap ever and I plan on ordering a bunch! Thanks for making a great soap!
